It’s a sunny morning here which makes my heart happy! Spring is my favorite season. Full of new hope. My master bedroom is full of thrift store finds, family pieces and yard sale treasures. My headboard is three very old doors I bought from my neighbor for a great deal! I cleaned and sealed them with poly. I wanted to keep as much of the old look as I could. I love having my “nightstands” miss matched. The left is a dresser I refinished. The right is a $5 thrift find. All the decor is second hand. The bench at the bottom of my bed was my parents. It was a red crushed velvet in its previous life. I recovered it with a painters drop cloth 🙂 hope you get some ideas for your own rooms! And don’t be afraid to mix and match items!
